Nordic Hackathon 2026 is a meeting place for developing innovative and interoperable solutions in healthcare. The event is organized by Stockholm University (DSV) and Karolinska Institutet (LIME), with support from Health Data Sweden (HDS).
The hackathon brings together experts from different sectors to address key challenges related to the patient and business perspective, integration and exchange of health data for coordinated care and care planning for people with complex care needs, and identification of basic information sets.
The goal of Nordic Hackathon 2026 is to develop digital solutions that strengthen interoperability in information exchange and contribute to more coordinated care and care.
The hackathon covers key areas such as: open standards in health informatics; European Health Data Space (EHDS) – Patient Summary.
Together with Region Örebro, Region Stockholm and Region Uppsala, we have developed two scenarios that will form the basis for the hackathon, these are located under the Documentation tab on the website
